Fundraising

Crowdrise

Solaris Performing Arts is looking to raise money for their competitive winds ensemble, Nemesis Winds. Nemesis Winds is comprised of music performers ranging in age from 15 to 35. As they embark on their 2019 competitive season with FFCC (Florida Federation Colorguard Circuit) and WGI (Winter Guard International), the ensemble is in dire need of new uniforms, and equipment as their size has doubled in the last few months. Each member of the ensemble is required to pay membership fees to help offset the cost of travel arrangements to competitions, repairs and/or maintenance for musical instruments, competition and licensing fees, insurance premiums, and rehearsal facility fees. Operating costs for the competitive season range between $18,000 - $25,000. The entire instructional staff is 100% volunteer based so that the members experiences are more enhanced. Your tax deductible donation in any amount would be sincerely appreciated by all members, staff, and board of directors. If you plan to donate on behalf of a specific member, please be sure to include their name in the comments section of the donation form. We thank you in advance!

Sponsorships

Often businesses (small or large), civic groups, family, and friends in your community are more than willing to sponsor individual members. Similar to Crowdrise, these donations are tax deductible, and all monies donated will be applied to the tuition of the member being sponsored. This is also a great opportunity for our members to establish the Nemesis name within their communities. Simply print the attached form for a potential sponsor, and have your sponsor complete and return the form with payment to the address provided on the form. That's it!  Be sure to let your potential sponsor know that we will include their Business Logo or Individual Name on our website, and shirts as an Official Sponsor of Nemesis Winds.

Marching Scholarship

Each year the Board of Directors of Solaris Performing Arts donates money to a scholarship fund. These funds are used as part of the Solaris Performing Arts Marching Scholarship. One lucky member of the ensemble who demonstrates leadership, teamwork, and an overall drive to go above and beyond the call of duty will be awarded this scholarship. If awarded, the funds will be applied to either your current year, or next year's tuition. However, in order to be considered for this, you must apply! Here's how:

Disclaimer: Member must be in good financial standing from prior seasons. If the awarded member's tuition is paid in full at the time of award receipt, then the scholarship fund will be automatically applied to the following season's tuition.
